Build It Up!

Half-term family workshops at Manchester Art Gallery.

In response to the gallery's thought-provoking exhibition 'The Sensory War 1914 - 2014', Build It Up! focused on the regeneration that can happen after war.  How do you re-build?

Inspired by architectural dioramas, and the materials and tools architects use, we explored construction, planning and mapping.

Abstract paper-landscapes were built to go in our utopian world, and lines were used to connect the spaces.
